A small air filter is located on the underside of the pump. Periodically remove, rinse, dry, and reinstall this filter to ensure optimal performance. If the pump volume decreases or stops, check the following:
- Airline tubing may be kinked — straighten or replace.
- Air stone may be clogged — replace if necessary.
- Air filter may be dirty — remove, clean, dry, and reinstall.
- Plug may not be secure — check all electrical connections.
